Surely you've noticed by now that McCain said that several times on several occasions. I know he's not the sharpest tack and a bit of old codger, but surely even McCain wouldn't accidentally say it each of those times.

If her campaign approved this, they're asking for big trouble. There are a lot more than two names that can be thrown back at the Clintons raising questions of judgment and guilt by association.

I wonder, which grand title or post Joe Wilson imagines this kind of nonsense is going to win for him in a Clinton administration. If it's not grand enough, I predict he'll follow the Dick Morris path from the Clinton White House to FoxNews.

Clinton has actively alientated me with her campaign.

I've gone from mildly positive to strongly negative on her. I am almost on the verge of staying home on election day if she gets the nod. I've seen nothing intelligent or noble come out of her mouth throughout this campaign. On the other hand, Obama's demeanor and the issues he's chosen to engage on show him to be a smart, cool customer. He can do more with a subtle raised eyebrow than Clinton can with a loud browbeating. That's effectiveness.

I cannot fathom what would make one a Clinton supporter over Obama.

At this point, I strongly believe Senator Clinton is setting herself up to become President in 2012. She has realized that her chance to legitimately win the Democratic nomination in 2008 has passed, so she is thinking ahead. Her best chance at becoming President in 2012 is if Obama is defeated by McCain, whereby she can claim that she was right all along about his electability, and then swoop in to save the party in 2012. Defeating McCain in 2012 should be a breeze considering his age, and the fact that we will likely be entering year 9 of the war in Iraq. By then, most people will have forgotten that she was largely responsible for bringing Obama down to a level where he could be defeated despite all the advantages the Democratic party had coming into this election cycle. Tell me that doesn't sound like a plan Bill and Hillary Clinton would hatch to get back into the White House.

This campaign gets more hilarious by the day. Joe Wilson has always been a pompous windbag who has made a career of exagerating his findings in Niger, an expedition he got to go on because of his wife. He must have a common bond with Hillary who claims "experience" based on being married to a guy.

In fact, Joe was found exagerating and contradicting himnself so often during 2004, where many of his claims turned out to be false, that he was quietly dropped from the Kerry camaign in 2004.

Now after years of being promoted by the media, in there crusade to land Karl Rove in jail, he now uses his new found fame to mouth off and all of a suddan everyone is so taken back by his behavior. This is a "monster" you people in the media created and now now you have to deal with it I guess things are different now because he is spewing his bs about a media darling.

Wilson and his wife and Hillary belong together as they all can form their merry band of professional victims.

part 2 of this play is when Cindy Sheehan, another media creation, storms the Democratic convention this year. BTW while all you in the media are condoning what Obama's preacher has been saying, I don't remember any such reporting of when Sister Sheehan was saying the exact same things when standing on stage with Hugo Chavez.

Why don't you all put a fork in hillary before she destroys the Democratic party and drag down the carrer of the best politician to come around in years.

I tried to post to Huffington Post, telling them that Joseph Wilson should at least acknowledge his potential conflict of interest, but they censored my post.

I also tried to point them towards this post too, which I think quite bravely encourages positive discourse in this election.

They censored that comment as well. Apparently, Time isn't a noteworthy source to them, especially when it calls their contributors on their divisive, damaging behavior.

Joe, I have to agree with bitterpill.

Obama has long said he was more electable in a GE than HRC because she would unite the Repugs against the Dems. Well, the fact is Obama's association with Wright very well might unite the Repugs against the Dems, too.

It's ironic that Obama's great speech was rightly praised the MSM (especially the liberal faction) and yet they don't seem to get the gist of what he was saying and refuse to have an honest dialogue about race.

It's unfair but Obama will be judged by a lot of Americans in a less positive fashion because of Wright's perceived "hatred" of America. But that's the reality. It's unfair that so many media types dislike HRC because she's a woman. But that's the reality. Both Obama and HRC have a right to talk about negatives in the coming GE.

This is a reasonable, measured response to the former diplomat's intemperate, self-indulgent article. It seems to me that Mr. Wilson is mainly interested in resuscitating the now-dormant investigation of his political enemies in the current administartion. Only a Hillary presidency would give him that chance. He must have reasoned that he must destroy Mr. Obama as he is the one person satnding between HRC and her future government-by-investigation. I hope the rest of the country will not follow Mr. Wilson into the swamp.
