The entire premise of the Clinton campaign is to pit women against men, black against white and latino. It is her trump card she plays over and over again.

I am very worried that if you all in the media decide to replay The Cry v2.0 over and over again with critical male commenters piling on, you all are going to give Hillary a manufactured last minute surge.

I implore all of you in the media to do the right thing. Don't cover the cries. IT'S NOT NEWS. PERIOD. Don't replay the tape over and over. Don't put male commenters up there to poke fun at her. It's not fair. She has had plenty of instutional advantages and it is not the media's role to let her manufacture a late breaking female surge like this.

Please, the future of our country is at stake and if all the media people out there decide to make this the last image in voters minds as they head to the polls tomorrow, you will be effectively handing the election to Hillary. Please don't do this.

I think that the entire premise of her campaign is a repudiation of the first Clinton's politically-motivated impeachment, a final victory over the bloodless assassination perpetrated on the country by Movement Conservatism, combined with a physically manifest rejection of the anti-woman tendencies of social conservatism.

Or it could be all about the ambition and lust for power of one H. Clinton.

I could be wrong on both counts, though.

RKA: Calm down. You are reacting the way you are expected to do: crying foul and showing panic. This "cry" is in a different context before a small audience. Don't push it or overreact.

No billerpill8, the way I am "supposed" to react is I am supposed to make misogynistic comments so that I can fall into the trap of making her seem like a victim.

The fact that this is at the top of drudge and the page and being replayed on cable news does not exactly strike me as a small audience. The echo chamber is revved up big time for this one.

I am making a quixotic attempt to ask the media not to propogate this story and effectively hand the election to Hillary over triviality. I have no illusions that anyone will listen to me, however. I know the media want the revenue that the perpetuation of clinton-like circus politics will bring and this is a repeat of the NH backlash playbook, plain and simple.

The only thing I can hope for is that people won't fall for it. But there are a lot of low information voters out there who will.

Keep in mind, this gambit in NH probably netted Hillary 15 points. Even if it has 1/3 of the impact it did then, it could net her 5 points. It could be the difference between Obama winning CA and not winning CA.

You all may think I am overreacting, but just look at what happened in NH to see how powerfult this dynamic can be. Women have suffered centuries of injustice at the hands of men. Many are primed to see Hillary as a victim and to make the affirmitive step to counter it at the ballot box. Whenever Obama makes headway with this group on poositive grounds, Hillary throws an identitiy politics hail mary at the end. In NH that hail mary was caught. I am terrified that it will be caught again.

Weird Spartan-esque military parades for school kids. Truly enforced equality, e.g. smarter kids are punished for being above average by being assigned more work. Folks being called in to the local police station, and being shown a copy of a letter they wrote to their uncle in Germany, with the parts requiring "clarification" highlighted. Television shows about "our friends, the Russians". Conformity explicitly taught at every level of every institution, with individualism literally criminalized. Official movies, official singing stars, official books. Prohibited movies, prohibited singing stars, prohibited books. Farcical elections with one name on the ballot, voting mandatory.

She gets a concerned, almost angry look on her face, and she says something like "they have no idea what it's like to live under socialism, they have no idea how lucky they are not to have lived under socialism". We were at church once, and the pastor said something about Jesus being "kind of a socialist", and my wife turned to me and whispered "they don't know what they're talking about". They truly don't. Judea was Czechoslovakia to Rome's Russia, an imperfect analogy for sure, but better than "Christ the socialist".

We Americans throw around words like "socialized", and "socialist" very easily, because they're meaningless words, the same way that we throw around "Nazi" and "fascist". We take individualism, freedom, entrepreneurship and a basic sense of hope for granted in a deep, deep cultural way one can only see if one looks at it from the outside, QH.

Even if the government we elected forces us to buy health insurance or car insurance, we're nowhere close to living under socialism. To describe liberal politics in such flippantly ignorant terms is to denigrate the special nature of the freedoms we enjoy in this nation, QH. There is no Bill of Rights in socialism. There are no privacy rights, no property rights, no life, liberty and pursuit of happiness guarantees. There is no rule of law, only the will of the state, acting in the supposed interests of "the people" to enforce a nominally beneficent absolute tyranny of the majority over every single individual in every single circumstance.

Hillary Clinton, health insurance mandates and all, is no Kim Jong-Il, QH. Kim Jong-Il is f---ing Kim Jong-Il.

You're really insulting our nation by even comparing Democratic machine politicians to real socialist commissars, QH. My wife would be the first to tell you that, because she's one of the last of the Eastern European generations to know the difference.
